Description

REVERSED AND RENDERED IN PART, AFFIRMED IN PART Charles Haight appeals his convictions on three indictments of official oppression, Tex. Pen. Code Ann. § 39.03(a), 1 all arising from the same events. Haight argues that his actions constitute only one offense, and that convicting and punishing him for three offenses subjected him to double jeopardy. Haight also challenges the legal and factual sufficiency of the evidence. Because we find that Haight was subjected to double jeopardy, we reverse and render judgment of acquittal on two of Haight's convictions and affirm the remainder of the judgment of the trial court.
